You’ll find that there are plenty of folks that have mixed feelings about cards. To some they’re horrible and something they wish they never had while others love them caused by every one of the benefits and perks they’ve received through the years. If you’re an excellent student that is looking for your first or another bank card, here are a few things you may want to look for.

Interest rate: To start with, you need to find a card which has a preferential rate. Anything under 15% is pretty good, specifically a student bank card. Anything higher, it might be an issue in case you don’t plan on settling your debts completely monthly. So, only to be secure and safe, compare all of the interest rates and choose one which gets the best.

Fees: You will find that we now have several fees on some cards. You can find late payment fees, annual fees and fees for almost everything. Stay ready for these and you must make sure that you’re not setting yourself up for in pretty bad shape with finding a fee friendly card.

Rewards: You will find cards around by incorporating great rewards. Whether you have cash return for each and every purchase you are making otherwise you get points each dollar you spend, they are something you need to check for. Don’t get a card unless it has something to reward you. I’ve found by using my cards I get points for each dollar I spend, so this means I will redeem them down the road for gift cards or even money towards my monthly statement. This is something to always enjoy when you have enough to redeem!

Reviews: It’s always beneficial to have advice from others. Find credit cards that others like and recommend. If everyone is talking bad over it and tell you why should you avoid it, pay attention to them. Instead opt for a card which is rewarding, features a low interest rate then one that folks recommend. Reviews are a good idea in relation to considering just about everything.

There are numerous cards available for university students. Although, it’s important to find which ones are the best and which ones include the worst. Be sure to use your future card wisely, also to consider everything we’ve mentioned above when you submit an application for it!

So you still use a screensaver? You know, those unforgettable flying toasters were invented to prevent burn-in, a permanent shadow branded into the phosphors of your monitor by a static image of, say, a spreadsheet that you left on your screen all weekend?
Well, Don Willmott, a Forecast Earth Correspondent write interesting subject about this. Below was his original posts.

You don’t still use a screen saver, do you?

By Don Willmott , Forecast Earth Correspondent Posted Wed Jun 11, 2008 6:36pm PDT

I’m happy that at this stage in my career I often find myself writing articles about energy-efficient ways to use computers, peripherals, gadgets, and consumer electronics. It makes me feel so, you know, virtuous.

Whenever I crank out a list of helpful hints, one of the first items I include is this obvious but often overlooked gem of advice: Kill your stupid screen saver. In the good old days of tube monitors, screen savers such as those unforgettable flying toasters were invented to prevent burn-in, a permanent shadow branded into the phosphors of your monitor by a static image of, say, a spreadsheet that you left on your screen all weekend.

Well, flat-screen LCD monitors don’t burn in, so if you still have flying toasters or an endlessly looping slide show of your adorable niece and nephew, you’re behind the times. When you’re not sitting in front of your monitor it should be off off off.

It warmed my heart to read at Green Daily that Telstra, the biggest phone company in Australia, has removed all the corporate screen savers from the 36,000 computers in its offices. What will happen? The change will cut tons of CO2, which they claim will be the equivalent of taking 140 cars off the road for a year. Good on ya, mate. Follow Telstra’s example. Let your flying toasters crash and burn.

Don Willmott’s blog posts are provided by LifeWire, a part of The New York Times Company.

She said, ” I hope you don’t mind, but I feel much luckier when I play topless.”

With that, she stripped to the waist; rolled the dice and yelled,
“Come on, Southern Girl needs new clothes!”

As the dice bounced and came to a stop, she jumped up-and- down and squealed

‘YES! YES! I WON! I WON!‘

She hugged each of the dealers…and then picked up her winnings, and her clothes and quickly departed.
The dealers stared at each other dumfounded.

People who say making money online is easy, Liars? Or people who makes us want to think that they’re indeed making easy money online. If you are just about to test the waters of making money online and would like to subscribe to the idea that it can be an easy feat, I’ve got three words for you: No way, jose!

Wonder why not too many are making money online full time? You got it. It’s not easy.
But why are there lots of people who say that people can make money online easily? Are they lying?
Yes and no.

Yes?

Yes there is absolutely a good number of liars who are spreading the word about profiting through online means as an easy peasy endeavor. They do this because they want to make money from gullible folks.

No?

No they are not lying because there are people who can now easily make money because they’ve surmounted the challenges of learning how to earn from blogging, affiliate marketing, freelancing, web designing and many other sources of online income. But as Jarkko Laine mentioned, they didn’t get there overnight.

Now I’m interested in knowing if you think that I’m wrong – that there are people who making money online easily since day one. Can you name anyone who’s born to do it easily?

Our first case study about graphic alteration and photos manipulation is the Angelina Jolie’s Nude Photos. I made a google a bit and found some good example about this very topic. The basic I used is my own knowledge about graphic and the recent guidelines I read and re-write : “5 Ways to Spot a Fake Celebrity Photo“.

Disproportionate Body Shape

This case study will take the Disproportionate Body Shape topic. “Pay attention to they way a celebrity’s body appears in a photo and compare it to confirmed real photos of that star. Do they look the same? If not, chances are that the photo under scrutiny isn’t genuine.”

Well, I actually saved only 15 fake Angelina Jolie’s Nude photos, but I ‘ll use 4 perfect samples for this messy un-proportionate body faking. The manipulation using the very basic technique, putting Angelina Jolie’s head to somebody else’s body, in some position. You may take a look at the large version of these pictures below:

Click to open the large picture.

Some Notes

From their so called work of art final released pictures it seems this forgery artists don’t know exactly what is the word body proportion means. As you may recognize in a quick sight, all the heads always a bit tinier, or we must say too tiny for the body they put into.

The large pictures, I increased the highlight/shadow level into 57%, and see what’s goin on. The original tone of hairs and shading showed. They might not even notice that! What a graphic artist, eh?

The worst work ever is the picture 3. It still leave the original background of the head. And the neck!! Man..!! That’s what people called putting the head off?

Alrite, see you with the next Celebrity Nude photos case study.

This evening I just browse around, and got into this interesting writing about ways to recognize whether the our favorite celebrity photo real or phony.

Don’t be duped by another doctored photo! More often than not, fake celebrity pics are produced to generate publicity for whatever publication is printing the image. Recognizing what is real and fake in a photo requires a little attention to subtle details. Below are 5 tell-tale signs that a photo has been altered.

Mismatched Background.
Look at the sky, look at the ground, look at everything behind the subject(s) of the photo in question. If the blue hues of a clear day don’t match up or if the grass is actually greener on the other side of a celebrity’s body in a photo, it could be a misrepresentation of the truth.

Erratic Light Sources and Shadows.
Notice how light affects the subject(s) of the picture. Does the light source(s) create even, uniform shadows or do shaded areas seem to have a mind of their own? If the shadows of celebrities cast in a picture don’t seem consistent, there’s a good chance that it’s a fake.

Mismatched Skin tones.
This one could be the work of a bad make-up artist or tanning experience, but regardless, mismatched skin tones of a photo’s subject are usually the biggest clue that a celebrity’s head has been put on the body of another model.

Disproportionate Body Shape.
If you put Tom Cruise’s head on Brad Pitt’s body nothing adds up to the truth. Pay attention to they way a celebrity’s body appears in a photo and compare it to confirmed real photos of that star. Do they look the same? If not, chances are that the photo under scrutiny isn’t genuine.

Unnatural Body Position.
There are only so many ways the human body can bend. When Paris Hilton’s head is tilted one way, her body can’t go the other and if her arms are out to her sides, her torso will appear differently than it would if her arms were above her head. Look at the way a star is posing and if the pose is impossible to mimic the photo has probably been altered.

Phony photos have probably been around since the camera was invented, but in the digital world of photo-editing, photo forgeries are fairly common, especially online, but can also appear in magazines, newspapers and even in print ads.
You guys know what GPS is right? The Global Positioning System device?
Here ‘s a hint I got from wikipedia:

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the only fully functional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Utilizing a constellation of at least 24 Medium Earth Orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, the system enables a GPS receiver to determine its location, speed, direction, and time. Other similar systems are the Russian GLONASS (incomplete as of 2008), the upcoming European Galileo positioning system, the proposed COMPASS navigation system of China, and IRNSS of India.

Developed by the United States Department of Defense, GPS is officially named NAVSTAR GPS (Contrary to popular belief, NAVSTAR is not an acronym, but simply a name given by John Walsh, a key decision maker when it came to the budget for the GPS program).[1] The satellite constellation is managed by the United States Air Force 50th Space Wing. The cost of maintaining the system is approximately US$750 million per year,[2] including the replacement of aging satellites, and research and development.

Cheap and Reliable GPS

GPS are not all reliables. There sometime is software bugs, connections problems, bad results, and so on. But here is the most reliable GPS! No software bugs, No connections problems, No bad results!
And best of all …….. It’s cheap!

As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said:

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hope you’re all having a good day. Anyway, I know that this post is somewhat late. But, I thought I’d share this here anyway. In case you wish to keep it in mind for next year’s celebrations.

Yes, love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is probably one of the most money-generating holidays. So, it’s always worth keeping it in mind when you’re running a business online. Especially if you’re in retail.

Here are some thoughts and ideas that you might want to consider for next year’s Valentine’s Day business season. It never hurts to plan early!

1. Advance Planning. Begin your holiday inventory/planning way in advance. Look at trends. Stock up popular items.

2. New Twist. Think of a new twist to the most popular gift items (flowers, chocolates, greeting cards, stuff toys, balloons, etc). Can you mix and match? Can you design flowers with current popular themes? Can you incorporate non-traditional traditional gifts with traditional/popular ones?

3. Social Media. Use social media to market and to promote your products discreetly. For example, free Valentine video cards that include an ad for your business may be made available via viral video sites like YouTube.

4. Previous Customers. Contact previous customers (if you were given permission to do so), and highlight your new inventory, if you haven’t done so yet.

5. Valentine themes. Make sure your website/online store look visually appealing and incorporating Valentine themes. And, if possible, even Valentine content (e.g., “How to buy a Valentine Gift for Your Man/Woman/Mom/Dad/etc” articles or reviews of your products, etc.).

Also, more food for thought: Other than retail, can you think of other businesses that may work with Valentine’s Day?
